That first rays of sunlight peeking through your window in the morning, a freshly brewed cup of coffee in your favorite chair, a gentle breeze tousling your hair on a warm day, a lazy weekend filled with family and friends. These are just some of life's magical moments, and the inspiration behind the designs here at Mandyliz Creates.
As a surface pattern designer and artist, I hope to cultivate and inspire those simple and special magic moments in your day-to-day with each pattern I create. Think dreamy, whimsical, nostalgic, enchanting, and a little bit vintage. The quintessential complement to your favorite space.
My ideas often start with time in nature or exploring the city that I call home, New York, and then transform into versatile pieces with a little something for everyone. I can't wait to learn more about what you find magical in your life!

i have "ex nihilo" tattooed on my wrist because I believe that we create our lives "out of nothing."
I've long had a love of art and a creative passion but it wasn't until the birth of my daughter in 2021, that I decided I finally wanted to put art and design as the main focus of my life. After all, I've always believed that it is up to each of us to create the magic we want to see in our lives, but I wasn't really living by that value.

I'm a textile designer and mindfulness mentor with a passion for helping other creatives bring more zen into their daily art practice and lives. I start each day in meditation, followed by journaling with a cup of English Breakfast tea. I love slow mornings with family and I value authenticity both in my life and the patterns I create. I hope to bring transformative mindfulness tools into your creative life as well.
